Peer-to-Peer Web NYC

Peer-to-Peer Web NYC is an afternoon of talks and workshops at SFPC. Peer-to-Peer Web is a broader series of free events that caters to those new to the decentralised web, and are curious in exploring the possibilities that lie beyond a centralised internet controlled by platform monopolies.

Presented by New Computer Working Group

Come to hear Laurel Schwulst, Sam Hart and Hugh Isaacs speak about conceptual ideas surrounding peer to peer practices and structures. The talks with be followed by project presentations including an overview of NYC Mesh as well as hands on demos and a small art exhibition called peer-to.
